If there is a tie for the highest hand, the pot will split as evenly as possible. A player who has the highest card by suit will receive an odd chip. The player who has the lowest card by suit will receive the other chip. If the player with the highest card by suit has a pair, the highest card outside of the pair will break the tie.

A straight is five consecutive cards of the same suit in a certain order. When two straights with the same value are tied, the highest straight wins. If three or more players tie for the highest straight, the pot will split if no player has a pair. The pot will also split if a pair and a straight tie for the highest.
